Hello all, I don't have a wireless connection but I do have a DSL connection for my PC. I know that the Wi-fi connector can be used for both Wii and DS and that you need a connection to the internet. Well....my question is, "Does your computer have to be powered on the entire time to use Wi-fi signal or does it matter?" Thanks! And also does you PC freeze or anything when this is used?

I think he means the official Wi-Fi USB connector, and in that case - yes, you do need the PC to be powered on whilst you use the Wii or DS online.

yes ur pc will have to be on when u use it.

I dont really have any problems with it as such, although the wii seems to be a little tempermantal at connecting sometimes. As for the pc freezing... no not at all, well not for me anyway.

But remember it'll only work with windows xp. So if u have vista i dont think it'll work at all sorry.

Yep, and remember, there is a specific setting to look for (It's an option instead of scanning for wireless). But they work just fine from my experience.
