Wow, and I entered this thread thinking the OP would actually be speaking logic. I too don't like Mircosoft, but not for the same reasons as the OP. I dislike Mircosoft for caring more about money then it's customers. I dislike Mircrosoft for giving me a console that RRODed, which wouldn't be bad if practically everyone else didn't have the same problem, but they did and there is no excuse for that. I dislike microsoft for charging $50 a year for X-box live and not giving all of that money back to customers in the form of great new content. Sure, they give some good content but most of it doesn't really matter and it surely doesn't cost but a fraction of the money that they get from us. Truth be told, I just want to play my games online for free, whithout ANY of the extra stuff. I don't care about it and it should be an option. The 360 isn't my main console and it's rediculous to expect me to pay $50 a year when I might spend a month or less actually playing it online. And truthfully, the PSN is just as good for playing online, i've had just as many problems on Xbox live as I have playing PSN if not more. Case in point, one of the only games I really wanted to play online last year wouldn't even let me and still has problems to this day (Gears of War 2). There is no reason for that, exspecially when I pay $50 a year to play only a few games online. I also hate windows Vista and a lot of the things that Microsoft do as a company. All of this gives me a slight distaste for my 360, because every time I turn around it feels more like Microsoft want my money then to actually help me out and give me things as a gamer that I want. But I would never claim that they have no good games, and that the system is aweful. Sure it sounds like hoover and I hate that too, but it has many GREAT exclusives. In hindsight, it's the only console I wish I hadn't bought though, as I had to buy two systems along with a wireless adaptar, recharchable batteries for my controllers which also broke and I had to buy new ones and almost 3 years of Xbox live which is a rediculous amount, much more then I spent on one of my PS3s. Still, had I not put up with Microsofts bullcrap I would have missed out on great games like Gears of War, Mass Effect, Left 4 Dead etc. And I'm someone who likes to live by the motto, "play games and not systems" but Microsoft has been the only one who makes it had for me to feel that way.
