Damage modeling?
what about a sequel to that shooter game that came out way back on the ps1... i do remember it being touted "from the makers of GT". whats the name of it???

i dont understand quite fully why there would be any legal hurdles. care to explain??
anyways...hmmm...like one of the guys from the other site said....it'd be great if it was about a working clutch...i'd just hope there's a pedal box with clutch that greatly mimics a real car clutch....

Yamauchi who makes the GT games wants realistic damage in his games and not arcade damage such as you would find in Forza.
So with that said the car companies are just not allowing Yamauchi to add damage to their cars in the game. They are saying arcade damage is fine but PD do not want that so I do not see damage being implemented into the game. Something has happened at PD anyway which is said to be huge, we shall soon see if it is GT5 damage, the game being ready, weather or something else.
Something so big is cooking, you can't even imagine the size of it.
Fancy GT5 wheel?
And there is something else cooking, which you can't even imagine the price of it.
Clutch or something? And it'll be expensive?
And the third thing is also in the oven, but you can't even imagine it's even baking.
GT4 Mobile (renamed to GT5 Mobile) is alive! Or maybe it's a new IP. Yamauchi has said he wants to make an RPG.
And besides that third thing there is something else in the oven, I'd say it's the oven itself.
The actual GT5! Release date to be announced no later than E3.

I thought the reason they have the hurdles around damage is because unlike other devs, Polyphony doesn't pay for the licenses to use the cars, it's just given to them, thus the car maker gets to make some limitations.
Really though, this game needs to get moving and out the door by November. Enough is enough.
this maybe the new update for GT5:P which includes damage modeling, this means Ferrari stopped being dicks.

GT5 to include MONSTER TRUCKS!... Yeah!
