Have Sony blown their load a little too early with regards to Killzone 2 hype? Half a month ago, you couldn't move without seeing a plethora of Killzone 2 topic here (or at any gameing site). Now days, as the release date draws very near, there's almost nothing.

Did allowing the reviews to be sent out so early hurt the game more than it helped? Should Sony have kept the review embargo going for another week or two?

No the hype machine is not dead. I guess it will come back in a few days, before the release, and soon after it, we're gonna have a lot of "OMG KZ2 story is f**** EPIC" and "WTF @ KZ2 multiplayer: it's sooo damn addictive" etc etc etc

Part of me think yes but then part of me thinks no.

I personally never bring it up because it is always followed by a shit storm of fanboys.

Am I still hyped for it? Of course, and I think many others are as well. There is still plenty we do not know yet and you can only talk about a demo for so long, same with reviews.

It will all be fine next weekend or even sooner depending on when they finally drop some damn ads for the game.

I think the hype has certainly died down a bit due to the demo that some didn't like even though me and the majority loved it. Hopefully it'll pick up again

Yeah and many threads were about KZ2 graphics or physics, and now that the demo is available, there's no need for such threads!

But believe me, as I said, the week after the release, it will be full of "killzowned" here ^^

HYPE! HYPE HYPE HYPE HYPE HYPE! BETTER? To be honest with you, I have been writing too many essays to hype up Killzone 2. My first semester ends 3 days before its release though, so I'll be back on dem hype trainez.

Well, there hasn't been that many threads on Killzone 2. I am glad and I hope the hype dies down after a couple of weeks of the game's release.

GoW 3 IMO stole a lot of K2's thunder, at the same time though... i'm really busy playing SF4... lol...

I think the hype may have peaked yes, with a couple of weeks still to go which isnt good...wont affect sales though i dont think
