We all know Forza 3 is coming, just about the worst kept secret in the gaming industry and through a miracle GT5 will also release....day and date with GT portable. -_-

So with that said, predict lifetime sales for Forza 3 and GT5. Advantages Forza 3 has are that it releases on a console with an install base 8 million higher than the one GT5 will release on. The advantage GT5 will have is that Gran Turismo will be in the title. Both titles have the advantage of being bundled of that no question can be asked.

GT5:

NA: 3 million

EU/PAL: 5 million

Japan: 2 million

= 10 million

Forza 3:

NA: 2 million

EU/PAL: 2 million

Japan: 0.3 million

= 4.3 million

Those are my predictions without bundling

Forza 2 was only just barely over a million worldwide before the bundle. There's no way Forza 3 will sell that much.

GT5 5.5 million

F3 2.5 million (maybe 3)

So you think that Gran Turismo 5 will be bundled but only sell 7.5 million copies?

Edit - Those are the numbers I predict, I see no reason to think GT5 will be higher

GT games were also bundled, any numbers on how many the GT games sold without bundles and the same for Forza 2.

I think 8-9 million for GT5 and 2-3 million for Forza 3.
