IR lights, so I would say yes!

(They should illuminate the room in IR light which we cannot see, so it should work in the dark)

Tease.

I doubt they have any plans to use it with the 360..

throwing something like this out there for console as old as the 360 would be a waste..

If they have any plans to use this to out casual nintendo it would be for their next system..

Predictions.

1. Wii will never reach 50% market share.

2. Kz2 will sell 1.3 first week 3.5 LT.
Sales predictions for 09.

Wii - 69 - 72
PS3 - 32 - 34
X360 - 39 - 41

I think you posted a video on this Squil, where it was demonstrated at CES?

I like its uses for menu navigation and more particularly 'scrubbing' photos ala minority report style.

I guess it remains to be seen its uses for gaming application, which depends largely on how accurate its tracking ability is. I think it will end up being reduced to mere hand waving gestures than say, playing charades with your avatar over xbox live.

I already feel stupid playing air-tennis with a stick controller in hand, how ridiculous must it look with just an open palm...maybe a 'pimp-slap' game.

Yes, that's it! If they do this and get a next gen version of Rose & Camellia exclusive to the Nextbox, Microsoft will finally have their ace in the hole for Japan!
