Well you're scaling up by like 13 for Wii Sports (1/7.5%). I've seen niche retail titles that barely double (less than 1/6 of that). Particularly stuff like Battallion Wars II and Guilty Gear. Most stuff is in the 4-8x range, thus my 80k number.

Yeah I just checked with the last full set of data (week before Christmas)

things like Mario Kart and Brain academy have about a 10* multiplier, while Zack and Wiki and Resident Evil are about 4* (didn't check them all, but didn't see one much lower than 4*...though perhaps I would if VGC had PAL data for Fire Emblem or Okami)

So Excite Truck by that is unlikely to be a lowly 4* game as it has the appeal of the box-art to go on for the non-internet savvy gamers (whereas those not in-the-know are unlikely to pick up disaster) So likley around 75k now, times about 6 and that comes out about 450k.

So I was perhaps good for Excite truck, but my guesses for Disaster were based on a similar model to it when they shouldn't have been.

Cheebe, just as I said, Support for Disaster never comes, the game haven´t the same prescence in the media than others games from nintendo, if they want sale must invest in publicity, and i never see a single TV comercial... NOT a single one.

DKII, ¿did you have some dat about cost of promotion for Disaster? I think there it´s the real problem form the beggining. No matters the diference of sales, the comparative point it´s the investiment in promotion.

Well i hope DDOC is nearer the 120k mark as i, too think it is a really good game. It will be a real shame if it doesn't go to the Americas too, as i feel they could be by far its best market. I mean the main character is American and there is lots of fast paced action. A lot of the reviewers say it has an American action movie feel to it too.
