just curious to what happened to one of my favorite franchises. not much into snowboarding but the games were very addictive.

blur was terrible, it was a huge step back in the series. i bought it and sold it to my friend a few weeks later >.>

I completely don't even know//everyone is saying SSX Blur for the Wii was pretty decent but the sales were horrible//EA will make sequel but I think they aren't to focus on the series yet. I want one so bad. I am currently playing SSX 3 on the Xbox.

This was a worthy snowboarding contender, actually it was the champion then we just haven't seen a HD SSX yet. We only have a Wii SSX//on top of that the only snowboarding games on the market is Amped 3 (Xbox 360), SSX Blur (Wii), SSX On Tour (PSP), and the Shaun White Snowboarding (PS3, PSP, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii). Sucks but EA certainly needs to bring a HD SSX quick!

Blur was a good game guys. Too bad people didn't take the time to figure out the controls. This is proof that hardcore controls don't work on a casual system.

Shaun White Snowboarding is not the same game as SSX. That's like me saying that Ubisoft will buy Free Radical and have them make Haze 2 just because Halo 3 is selling well. In fact, I could go on with dozens of examples but I think you get the point. Considering EA's financial situation, they're probably not going to be focusing on smaller series like SSX.

About a 1+ years ago i heard an SSX was in the works, from what i remember it was being made by the EA guys in Vancover or where ever their office is located in that area. I would expect to see it at this years E3 or this year at some other EA function. Either that or it was canceled since we have heard nothing of it.
