If someday I play this game, Im going to spend more time watching the landscaping than playing the game...
By me:
Length of game is important to some. People will be inclined to rent it if it's really short and has no online.
IGN has stated time and time again, if its rated above a 6 at least rent and try it. If you like it buy it. If its rated 5 and below, the game most likely isnt even worth a rent.

Whether you liked FFXII or not is irrelevant, what isn't is that $60 is too much to pay for a game that's only 6-7 hours of single player. Maybe if it was 1987 I could understand a game that length but it's pretty said for such a major title today.

It got 2 7's. One from IGN and one from IGN UK. Also... who were the other 2 9's? Only credible 9 i've seen is Gamepro other then Play magazine which actually gave it a 10. (Which considering there overrating is more like a 9.5) and there was Edges review which I think was a 6. (Which considering how harsh they are is more like a 7.)
Forget Heavely Sword; Uncharted is the best triple A ps3 title for 2007 :).

First they say it is less than ten hours.
Then someone with the word 'WII' in his nickname says it is 8 hours of gameplay.
Now you say it is 6-7 hours of gameplay.
What is next? Soriku who comes in this thread and says it is 10 minutes of gameplay because
The people who will buy it will throw the game after 10 minutes in the garbage?
