Depends on your viewpoint.

I think is it is silly to expect devs to go back to years old games and patch them for trophies, but games that devs are still doing stuff with that released without trophies definately should. MGS4 has released 2 expansion packs since it was released and both had no trophy update, I call that piss poor on Konami's part.

I'm not expecting devs to go back and patch games. I'm just answering the question "what games should have trophies?". They should all have trophies because Sony should have implemented this from day one the way Microsoft did. Achievements are a strong appeal because every single game has them. It's part of why the system works so well.

Adding Trophies and having it be incomplete is the same as either HD console adding a wand motion controller at this point. It's too little, too late. Just like motion, it would be a fine thing to have for every game that did implement it, but it would still always feel incomplete and hollow. Partial trophies feel to me the same way I feel when I check a game's sales on this site to find we haven't tracked every region. Sure it's great we have some data to work with, but ultimately it's pretty useless in the big picture.
