Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo magazine Mega-exclusive ??

You demand more games than you did as a kid.

You were probably horrible beyond words (as I was) back in 1998. Ocarina of Time took me (well, I didn't play most of the time) over 100 hours.

Compare the N64 to the Wii. The difference isn't as large as you may believe.

OoT = TP

SM64 = SMG

Golden Eye = Metroid Prime 3

MK64 = MKWii

SSB = SSBB

Banjo Kazooie = Wario Land Shake it

Paper Mario = Super Paper Mario

Mario Party = Mario Party 8

Pokemon Stadium = PBR

Kirby 64 = Kirby Wii

Mario Golf = Mario Golf (it's bound to come...)

Mario Tennis = Mario Tennis Wiimake

Animal Crossing = Animal Crossing Wii

Star Fox 64 = none yet

F zero = none yet

DKR = none yet

Perfect Dark = none yet

Wave Race = none yet

Yoshi's story = none yet

Pilotwings = none yet

SW: RS = none yet

Considering how short into the gen we are, that's pretty good. It might actually equal out all of those.

Then there's a few other games that Wii has (or will have) that N64 has no counter for. Well... That's not completely fair, as I have more knowledge to the Wii than N64 library. So I probably missed a good 4 or 5 N64 games.

Not so interesting to you: (it seems like that)

Wii Sports

Wii Fit

Wii Sports Resort

Mario & Sonic

Link's Crossbow Training

Big Brain Academy

Endless Ocean

Wii Music

Titles that appeal to you, or should, as their more "hardcore" ish.

Pikmin 3

Mario Strikers Charged

Fire Emblem

Super Mario Sluggers

Wario Ware: Smooth moves

The 2 Trauma Centers

Disaster Day of Crisis

Batallion Wars 2

And the 4 (or more) Wiimakes.

Overall, YOU have changed. You're not even close to the same gamer you were in the 1998 days.

If you're no longer happy with Nintendo, you've outgrown them, and you shouldn't blame them for that.
