Forums - Nintendo - What is the best Boss Fight in Zelda history ?

I'm a pretty big fan of the final battle in Ocarina of Time too.

Although fighting Blind in A Link to The Past's Dark-World-Village had a pretty cool lead-up.

I really liked the fight vs the goron in twilight princess. It was very creepy and the goron seemed so evil.

I also enjoyed the boss fight vs the puppets prior to gannon in WW. Awesome fights.

volvagia and majoras mask

Link vs Dark Link. Most balanced fight ever.

The spinner boss battle of Gerudo's Desert dungeon was the shit too.

TP had the most interesting boss fights, downside too easy.

PH was the same as well.

Blind leadup was great too

How about most annoying? that would be

OoT water temple boss and TP underwater boss whoever is was.

the witches in spirit temple on OOT. The Ganon fight in Twilight princess.

Well the final Gannon fights are always the best, so gonna ignore them.

But for me it would have to be then the Dragon fight in OoT when your an adult. And you fight with the hammer, that fight was sweet. Though pretty easy, just cool fighting a dragon.

The final boss in Twilight Princess. Miyamoto concluded the "3D Zeldas" perfectly. The setting was just epic, and you finally got to see inside Hyrule Castle before the big duel. Oh, and the music, simply awesome!

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Most boss fights in the 3D Zelda games are pretty epic, if only in appearance at times (Fyrus, I'm looking at you). But the one that always stuck with me was the fight with Dark Link in Zelda 2.

It comes out of nowhere and catches you totally off guard the first time through the game. You wouldn't expect a second boss fight right after the almost assuredly grueling battle with Thunderbird; that boss seems more than hard enough to be a last boss, especially since you go through the entire dungeon before you reach him AND have to use a special spell to even be able to fight him. And if you don't know the trick to make the Dark Link fight simple (who ever did, the first time through?), it is a really epic fight.
