Forums - Nintendo - HotD:Overkill / Madworld Commerical

So just a few minutes ago i happen to clance on Spike tv and found myself watching a House of the Dead: Overkill commercial. The commercial show video clips from serveral trailers and used the tagline :they came for brains, youll give them bullets." However the last 10 seconds had Jake saw the House of the dead Overkill footage inhalf and show a clip of Maworld. Both game boxes were shown in the end of the commercial.

Great marketing SEGA! Sorta like what we mention in my previous topic.

i hope that starts appearing on a bunch more channels :)

Hm... I want to see this commercial... too bad I don't really like to watch TV...

Someone needs to put it up on youtube.

You know i predicted this exact thing. I said fortunately Sega have two games they can easily split into the one commercial. And they did, gods tremble before me.......

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

There is a Madworld trailer on the HotD Overkill disc also you can watch too.

Yea, its ashame it was one that has been online for awhile. ..but at least it was nice seeing it on my tv and not on a pc screen.

I think it was a safe bet for SEGA to put the commercial on Spike TV..i mean...its the man channel..It was on during a show called TRUCKS. Trying to get the core group these two games were designed for: Male 17 to 35.  Its also nice to see SEGA advertising and trying to get more attention for a game that isnt coming out in less then a month.
