To be more exact it is a system that follows the concept of the Skies of Arcadia battle system. Your hole party has a specific amount of action points that can be determined between your party members in a turn based fashion.

No it's not,

t's basically a mix of Grandia and Tales (the scenes in battle) pimped up and mixed.

looks like a grandia battle system going by games that I have played...it is something to look at but its not to the point that its a must have just yet for me

Have you even seen the vids? The screen breaks before a battle just like Tales and when you input moves, they move around like Tales. It's similar.

 

 yes I have and no it looks nothing like tales.mabye grandia but not tales

i compared Arc Rise Fantasia to Final Fantasy 13 alittle because they both you an AP system to input different moves

I'll buy the game if it doesn't turn out like DotNW
But I must say the graphics look rather bland. Can't wait to see some direct feed.
