also when uncharted came out there were people saying:
"oh it's just looks cool because it's colorful and the environment is colourful"

lol Killzone 2 graphics make Gears of War 2 look pretty stupid. In fact, Gears wasn't even the best looking game last year, or the year before.

we are gamers not programmers , I've not read a post complaining about the "LACK OF TREES BEFORE" now all the sudden it matters?

while I applaud you for saying people shouldn't get caught into hype and be fanboys you need to realize here at VG Chartz we talk about and scrutinize games much more than say...GameTrailers where its just a free for all. Believe me you'll see graphics getting picked apart for every game thats released not just K2. Which i think is a good thing because people will back up their points here mostly without just being like "OMGZ GUYZ K2 IZ TEH BEST GAMEZ EVER!"

well to be honest trees complicate graphics BIG time. It takes out quite a big amount of horsepower to render trees and their movements in real time compared to something more static such as walls and cars or other scenery. From a graphics point of view foliage is a big deal. Which makes Uncharted all the more impressive with its awesome ability for real time rendering of jungle.

 

OK I agree on that buddy:)

but what does it mean if my eyes see it as a beatiful game with not trees?

well yes it all comes down to personal preferences and I agree K2 is the best looking console game so far so if you don't care theres no foliage in K2 then more power to you.
