My cheap ass waited till this game was $29 before buying it (its now a Platinum hit). Anyways Im currently going through Day 2 of 72 hour mode. This game is seriously addicting, and I hope they make a sequel. Its funny, sick, twisted, and very open (free to do whatever) and theres tons of stuff to try. Anyone else really enjoy this game? If you havent grabbed this for your 360, your missing out! Seems like Capcom has mentioned a they would love to do a sequel but nothing is in planning or dev stages at this time. Hopefully for 2008.....

I love the game but I haven't gotten past the first day. I'm one of those people that must find and do everything so when I'm presented with a quest, I'm going to do it. The problem with that is that you can't rescue everybody (or at least I can't) on that first day so I keep getting to the boss battle, beating it, get angry that I missed some survivors, and restart the quest.

All in all though, I love zombie games and this was a pretty awesome game that I would like to see another of.

Yah I actually got to late day 2 but started over. I missed some stuff that was important. Like the mission "Out of Control", if you kill the clown you get a shortcut that practically teleports you between the West and East sides of the mall. Makes the rest of the game MUCH more convenient.

Im not too worried about getting every survivor first time around. I notice if you start a new 72 hour mode your character gets carried over at the current level (which is cool)

If they make a sequel Im hoping they remove that walkie talkie as a means of getting missions. That janitor calls you at the worst times....

I played the first few days on a friend's 360 and it was pretty cool. Hope they make a sequel by the time I get the console.

I hear it's a good idea to just kill stuff for 3 days initially, and only try to do the mission stuff when you know what you're doing btw.

I know that's the better way, but like I said, I'm one of those people that has to complete every mission I see. :-p

I wish it was for the PS3. I cant afford a 360. Plus if I did have enough I would rather spend it on games. PS3 version please Capcom.

If there is a DR2, it will be on PS3 alongside 360. Capcom's strategy of late has been to multi-plat everything it seems.

I think DR is one of the real jewels in the 360 library. I'll definitely be picking up the sequel.

Hopefully things have changed but dead rising and lost planet sequels would be exclusive to the 360 according to capcom a while back when discussing dmc 4 going multi platform.  Basically they said the multi-platform is their strategy but they do not apply to those two games.  Again they could have change that stance but that is the last thing I read about regarding the sequels besides the DR2 not being in develeopment yet.  We will see.

I wouldnt be surprised if this happened, especially with Devil May Cry going multiplatform I dont see why Capcom wouldnt release their other hits to PS3 (DR and Lost Planet).

I enjoyed this game a lot. The apocalyptic, yet entertaining atmosphere, the variety of weaponry and skills, and the storyline.
