I know Killzone 2 and Unchated 2 will be big hits but without the other 2 monsters in GT5 and GOW3, how is PS3 exclusives better than X360 in 2009.

I am strickly talking about NA and Europe so you can throw out Yakuza 3 and other Japanese niche titles out.

As far as I know, there are really only 4 major exclusives in KZ2, Infamous, Uncharted 2, Heavy Rain and maybe WKC.

X360 has Halo Wars, Star Ocean 4, Halo 3 ODST, Alan Wake, Splinter Cell Conviction. And that seems like a pretty even list thus far.

Of course we have to wait for E3 perhaps to find out more about release dates and the full lineups for both camp.

I hope GT5 and GOW3 does make it out this year so I can play them ASAP.  If they don't, PS3 lineup doesn't look that potent.

I think we have a better chance of seeing GT5 and God Of War III then Alan Wake or Conviction

R&CF2 is a lock for Q4, and from what I hear, so is MAG, barring anything disasterous happening during development.

Also, Heavy Rain should hit around Q3. Maybe early Q4.

Alan Wake should hit this year (I just can't see it not happening).

I agree about Splinter Cell, though.  Rumors back in May of last year said that the developers had gone completely back to the drawing board.  Ubisoft denied it, and then delayed the game quietly to 2009.

When did R&CF2 been comfirmed for 2009? OK, rare will have something as well (Conker, KI3, New Perfect Dark perhaps) that I didn't put on the list.

As for MAG, it is unknown. Heck I can put APB and Huxley on there as well to counter MAG.

R&CF2 was confirmed at the end of Quest for Booty.  At the end of the credits it said, "The adventure continues in Fall 2009."

Huxley... well that's been struggling in an open beta in Korea since June.

And your last line is exactly the issue.  It's just a fucking list.  "I can throw this on my list to counter that on your list!"  The fact is, we don't know the full lineups for 2009, and won't until the end of 2009.

They don't have enough ammo even WITH them. The games are great, but they have to be better than great to stop the YOY decreases and to get out of third place. They need somthing new and fresh like Wii fit was. There is not a person alive that doesn't know about GoW or Gran Turismo when making a decision to get a ps3. If its delayed again, they will only fall behind even more.

Sony has 2009 covered and thats without a price drop. with Killzone 2 releasing in a matter of days I want to see if your still talking shit about the lineup
