It seems they didn´t get at all into numbers like they usually do. I guess it was a really hard month for them to do so.

I actually like it this way, a bit like Nintendo´s, short and to the point.

Dunno if it is fake... but from the blanked out letters I have to guess whoever posted it on GAF got it from here in the first place (unless other sites are also banned on GAF)

quite a few actually:

Banned sites: These sites have all been banned for different reasons. When spelled correctly, these sites will show up as *******.

1. Joystik: Banned for misinformation -- You can post an article from here, be warned, it's probably not true.

2. Go Nintendo: Banned for Misinformation, and having their fans spam useless articles on the site. -- You can post articles from here, but again, be very very careful, most people will just laugh at you for doing so.

3. Sp00ng: Banned for misinformation and the infamous "Backstabo in the Cabo" -- Just don't.

4. VG Chartzzzzz: Long history with GAF's sales-age. Numbers are never accurate. -- Posting anything from this site will result in a ban. Our numbers are right. Theirs are wrong. Period.

5. Petition Online: Banned because these things are annoying and never work. -- Your thread will get locked.

5.5 IMAGESHACK It says it in another thread, but if you post images from Imageshack, and they turn into gold frogs (AND THEY WILL) you will get a 1 month ban. This does not apply for avatars


Banned Memes:

1. Shoop da Woop(firin mah lazor) -- It's racist, you'll get banned.
2. Nicole Bass -- Long story, avoid at all costs
3. Rape time!!! -- It's not funny
4. Rickrolling -- 1 month ban.
5. So basically X is better than Y (X = Game Reviewed 1, Y = Game Reviewed 2)
6. Caturday (unless specifically sanctioned by a mod or admin)
7. WEEKEND GAF LOL (and ALL its variants. If you call weekend GAF on a thread to dismiss or derail it, you will be banned. Let mods and admins decide what is not worthy of a thread)
8. Blame Wii Fit (you know why)
9. Posting in a Legendary Thread
10. tl;dr (including variant "BOLD PLEASE")
11. PM begging in all its guises

2. "Fag", "Faggot", "That's gay!" -- This is not middle school. NeoGAF has a sizable gay community, and if that bothers you, go somewhere else.

Seems like they've turned Games Are Fun into Game Aren't Fun.  At least in terms of a place to discuss them.
