I have to say yes. Not to state the obvious but RE5 is a huge title for the 1st quarter of 2009.

yeah it most likely will, but only for Multisystem owners. Wii-only owners wont be affected.

Well RE5 will be out on the HD consoles whereas MW will be on Wii. So who knows. But personally I don't think RE5 will affect MW sales too much. Might be the other way around as well you know. Besides, they're totally different games.

Mad world will fail cause its published by Sega. They have no clue how to hype games.

Certainly RE5 will be bigger, but i think many will get both. Obviously RE5 was going to sell more anyway, so it will be hard to tell if it cannibalizes MadWorld or not. I think that the number should be relatively small, such to be statistically unnoticeable

As a Wii game, MadWorld will probably sell at its own pace anyway. It will be something worth keeping track of
