God of War I, II, III-Visual Evolution

The recent barrage of media scarps released for Sony’s uber title is filled with potential and why should it not since it stands as a creation of Santa Monica Studios who are famous for crafting out really good looking and playing games. Here are a couple of screens that showcase the fantastic evolution of the series.

Now I wanna see a comparison of on screen activity .

I really don't see such a big difference...God of War II still looks great. GoW III looks fantastic, but it's not a massive step. Maybe I should watch the trailer and not these screens x]
I'll probably end up 5x better looking than previous games.

God of War I & II were very good. I hope one day to finish the trilogy but that relies a) on me getting a ps3 and b) on sony putting ps2 compatibility in the ps3 in order to get me to get one.

GOW III does not look a huge leap from GOW II, indeed the game is still in development but we will not see a huge graphical leap from whatever stage the game is at now and the final release.

The ok graphics lead to believe it will ve 1080p at 60fps, also compared to other games ala GeOW 2, Killzone 2 and other games much more is going on in the screen such as many enemies.

That's why I said I want to see a comparison of onscreen activity , this game is likely 1080p @ 60fps which in itself is a huge feat considering this is a HD game. I want to see how this will affect draw distances , scale , on screen enemies , animation etc.

So many variables to consider but if GoW2 is anything to go by it's certain is that God Of War 3 will be a technical mile stone .

grfx imprevements are definite

remember polishing up takes place near ending phase

KZ2 09 looks so much better than 07 KZ2

same with early resistance 2 footage n new one

Darth do you know about HD code trick from GOW2, it makes the game look much better. It made it look like almost as good as early Xbox360 title

is it not a "secret" high resolution mode hidden in the NA version of GoW2 ???
