Why do you like Nintendo? Games I assume. Need I say more?

the original PS i think broke new grounds in console gaming i was a teen wen it came out there was no MS Nintendo was starting to go kiddie so it was the only good option in gaming.

Then the ps2 came out and i had no problems with it, it was also a big hit compared to the other consoles, for me it's like car manufactures i like one manufacture that is Chevrolet its like that for consoles also i'll always stay with sony or the PS brand

Plus sony T.V.s are awesome

I like their consoles. They are the king of IPs, second to Nintendo. I mean they had Crash series and Spyro series for awhile. They also had Final Fantasy as one of their prized exclusives up until now. They also have a great fanabase(minus the ps3). Even though, this generaion might go down as their worst so far, that doesn't mean anything. The mighty have fallen but they always get back up. Their never gone forever.

My first console was the NES. It was true that I liked Nintendo consoles the best until this generation with the Wii. This generation, Nintendo has been much less enthusiastic about the kind of games I love as they found a gold mine with the new consumers of interactive entertainment.

All this stereotyping can be said about any company. I can say Xbox fanboys are people who have never known what a PC is. Steam has been doing the same thing Xbox Live has done for years and for free.

Why do I like Sony the best this generation? I don't love any company that's not paying me huge amounts of money, but they make the most games that I like to play. Where else will I find LBP, Valkyria, Uncharted, MGS, etc.? Sure the games don't have 5-10 mil. in sales, but they are the games I enjoy. Like others mentioned, if Sony stepped up the jRPG development a bit, I would be golden.

Nintendo? Wii is definitely no SNES in terms of games that I like to play. It's obvious they want to go for a different demographic. Usually, when games do come that I like, I just go to a friend's house to play it. It's not hard to find people who own a Wii.

Microsoft? I bought one for the jRPGs that are missing from Sony's line-up (yes, Sony needs to do better in that dept.). However, what's after SO4 for the jRPG line-up? I was hoping for Cry-On, but that was canceled. There is definitely alot of attention for Halo, Gears, GTA, and whatever all the cool kids are doing these days. I mainly see attention from MS toward established 3rd party franchises that I've been playing for years.

From Sony, there is alot more attention for the oddball gamers that don't want the super-casual games or the grey Bald Space Marine shoot everything that moves games. And yes, that's why you don't see me in a whole bunch of KZ2 threads. I want games like VC that have a unique art style, or LBP bringing what I loved as a kid in 2D sidescrollers in a "next-gen" environment, or Uncharted with it's amazing environments and fun adventure game-play.

Yeh it's not complete it's missing some titles, but the mojority of it is there
