I really like this idea.
Remember the early screenshots of OoT where they depicted Link in his original green and brown colour scheme?
It would be interesting if they tried to do an elaborate re-telling of the first Zelda game. Same Settings and enemies, plus more. More characters and some towns/villages. Similar visual design (rounded bushes, rocky wastelands etc).
I'd love to see a Zelda game that imitates the art style in the NES LoZ's instruction manual.
