Do you guys realize that the wii sold about 55k less in january than the ps3 sold in december?

ps3 dec 08- 728,000

Wii jan 09- 679.2k

impressive?

i havent done my reasearch but according to FishyJoe December was also a 5 week reporting period compared to January's 4 weeks of reporting

your comparing a month of holidays to a month of recession, you know that right? how much did the wii sell in december?

 You totally missed the point, hes saying that the wii almost outsold the ps3, when the ps3 sales were from the holidays and the wii's are taken from a slow month.

I think the more impressive thing is that wii fit sales in January were higher than PS3 sales in December. People laughed when I originally said wii fit could outsell the PS3 lifetime but now it looks like it will with ease.
