I love both of them, and they're really on comparable on the surface.

Zelda is heavily focussed around puzzles, even when fighting. Thee is a certain way to kill each enemy that you must figure out, especially the bosses.

Whereas Fable is focussed around tactical fighting, as well as being the best example of 'role playing' in a role playing game that I've ever experienced.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6). This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.
