Forums - Microsoft - Finding all the orbs in Crackdown is $*$&%^$ annoying...

So Tuesday night I decided to dig out Crackdown to try to get some more achievements, damn am I now regretting it. Whoever decided to put hundreds of hidden *#&$^# orbs in a game like that should be b*tch slapped. I'm now going to have to do something I truly hate, finding an online guide (I consider it cheating and it kills me to do it), because otherwise it'll take me God knows how many hours to find the ones I'm missing. What's even worse is that I'm still missing 5 out of 500 agility orbs which truly sucks since I swear I looked everywhere in the game for them and they're supposed to be in plain sight :(

Ah, money sacks in GTA3...

500 Agi Orbs?

Jesus, I thought 100 hidden packages was bad for GTA.

It's better than a thread bitching about biased reviews or what has better graphics.

Wow, you do have a point there.

Yeah, even Hitler agrees with you.

Somewhere in the video, he says he spent months tracking down the orbs in Crackdown.

i gotta say, i bought crackdown from insider @ microsoft expertzone for 9 bucks, and i expected very little about it. i started a new game yesterday, and the gameplay was so addicting, i loved it. i think the agility orbs and hidden orbs make the game fun.

You don't gotta catch 'em all (har har har), but you can. Aren't optional stuff like that a good thing? I finished Twilight Princess during a single week marathon in January, but still go back to it every now and then to find a few more of the missing heart pieces and poes.

 Best 360 game until BioShock.

We don't provide the 'easy to program for' console that they [developers] want, because 'easy to program for' means that anybody will be able to take advantage of pretty much what the hardware can do, so the question is what do you do for the rest of the nine and half years? It's a learning process. - SCEI president Kaz Hirai

It's a virus where you buy it and you play it with your friends and they're like, "Oh my God that's so cool, I'm gonna go buy it." So you stop playing it after two months, but they buy it and they stop playing it after two months but they've showed it to someone else who then go out and buy it and so on. Everyone I know bought one and nobody turns it on. - Epic Games president Mike Capps

We have a real culture of thrift. The goal that I had in bringing a lot of the packaged goods folks into Activision about 10 years ago was to take all the fun out of making video games. - Activision CEO Bobby Kotick
