I will admit - when I was on the block, it was just another day to me.

The day that really, really hurt was New Year's Eve. I won't forget it - I was off and wanted to get a bite to eat. Went to TGIF and no joke - there wasn't a single person in the house except for the servers and staff. Every table had couples. I was like 'This is my last New Year's alone.'

My heart goes out to the lonely folks. I haven't forgotten those days.
