Forums - Nintendo - I bought Onechanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers

I bought it yesterday, and I've sent around 2 and a half hours, 3 hours playing so far. Just incase anyone is interested, heres a few pros and cons.

Cons-

- Lacks basic programing. You can't jump over objects, cant run in grass, etc.

- Some levels are quite short IMO...

- The story is really random

- Repetitive

Pros-

- Repitive, but quite fun in short doses

- Enough different enemies to keep it fresh

- Some of the graphics are really good for a Wii game

- Two story modes with two different characters with different gameplay

- A good amount of unlockables

- Only 30 bucks

- Controls are very fun

IMO, if you have thirty bucks go get it, or atleast give it a rent. It also has a two player mode, which is really quite fun. Ofcourse, most people will pass over this because it's a cheap game... but I do recomend it.

You swing it vertically to slash, but you can do it at different angles, and also you can thrust. Depending on how you hold the control stick, you can also swing different. Shaking the nunchuck uses a kick. You can take two swords out, which makes you lose the kick, but you can use the nunchuck as another sword instead.

AI kinda sucks, its really simple. Enemies are terribly easy to beat. 3 outfits to unlock per girl.

aww i like hard games, i hate it when the AI sucks, i'll rent it though and if its adicting to slash through zombies with semi naked girls i'll probably get it

I ordered both the 360 and Wii games from Amazon. Still in the mail.

Aren't there different difficulty settings?

Do your arms get tired after a while, with all that swinging?

my arms do get a little tired because its really swing after swing after swing... but its still fun :)

  1. You have the same thing as a pro and a con
  2. Lacks basic programming-- that isn't basic programming, it's just a design decision (who knows why they made it).  If you're going to comment on something and try to sound like you know what you're talking about, at least talk about it right.

Are the girls hot?

Do they stay hot?

If the answers are yes then I'm gonna get it.

And is the framerate consistent?

I would buy this game for the name alone. Bikini Zombie Slayers? Sign me the fuck up!

Quem disse que a boca é tua?

Qual é, Dadinho...?

Dadinho é o caralho! Meu nome agora é Zé Pequeno!

@ twestern

no, i don't have the same thing in both. yes, it does say repetitive in two places, but in the pros section, i was only saying that although its repetitive (which is still a con,) its fun, in short doses.

again, its repetitive, but in short doses, the repetitiveness is okay. 2, oops, oh well, no one will notice/complain...
