A new IP that is only mediocre will not sell well in any region. If you want to make mediocre games you better be sure you have a franchise or spend millions and millions and more millions on advertising.

its a fact that the game isnt mediocre, its pretty darn good. Its only that it didnt have enough advertising in Japan and is made by a lessor known studio.

Based on the two reviews available, its pretty average if not mediocre. A new IP has to get atleast good reviews to even hope of having a chance to sell well.

5/10 from Eurogamer, incidentally the same score they gave Blue Dragon. Just check gamerankings.
