Forums - Gaming - Crash is the prove that goin multiplat don't necessarily mean selling more?

No, we can see what happens when good companies stop making a franchise, and pass it over to bad companies... I would assume you would see a similar trend with Spyro

This one was definitely a case where quality went down the shitters, why? Because Naughty Dog no longer develop the game.

Crash was originally hyped as the Playstation Mario. Those days are gone.

crash was a ps1 legend.... -remember him as he was not how he is- RIP

Crash under Naughty Dog is what I remember it for, not the crap that's come out after Naughty Dog.

Crash just proves what happens when you sell-off excellent franchises

Well I think Naughty Dog doesn't care. They must have made some good money selling it.

May I point out that Sony never owned. I believe they co published the later ones, but Vivendi or universal owned the IP, sony only onwed ND since 2001

alot of franchises from the ps1 days are dying including the playstation brand itself. the generation has moved on from most of the ps1 days.

i think that crash is more of a past its prime game that was never really as popular as Sonic or Mario... so now it even less poppular...

No, the original crash games were much more popular than Sonic and at least as popular as mario during the ps1 era. All 4 original games sold like 25-30 million combined. Whats the total sales of Sonic games on Sega Genesis for God's sake? For how much did Mario 64 sell compared to any of the Crash games?
