I had the opportunity and acquired both Baten Kaitos games. Obviously, I have started with the first one. I'm playing it after completing Tales of Symphonia, and so far my impression is that I was playing a game made with RPG Maker and now I'm playing a game made with a real engine.
I'm impressed with the graphics, technically and artistically. The music is what I'd expect from Motoi Sakuraba, just great. There are a lot of stuff I liked in the game that I could go on talking about it, from the battle system to the dungeons, and I would compare a lot of stuff with Tales of Symphonia too, but I won't turn my own thread about Baten Kaitos in a thread about bashing ToS, so yeah.
I have two questions thought:
1) Can I sell the Boss photos without any problem? I didn't sell any yet, but they appear to be useless except for the money that I'll get from selling them.
2) There were some people drowning in Diadem (and a man with a bracelet), and I just didn't know what I had to to do help them, so I left them there. Right now I'm in Anuenue, and I can't go back there... I guess they will stay drowning there, but just so I'm sure. I'll be able to complete the "sidequest" later on, right?
the words above were backed by NUCLEAR WEAPONS!

Awesome trailer for the new Ganbare Goemon game, to be released in March, 2009 for... Well, it's a Pachinko machine with a display. Oh, God.
