That MS charges for DLC that is FREE on the PC version?
Kind of makes me want to upgrade my PC so that I can get awaty from MS's oppressive greed. :/

That's why I didn't upgrade it in the first place.
I was just contemplating picking up the Fallout 3 DLC, but realized that I probably wouldn't get enough time out of it to warrant a purchase.
I'll wait for Broken Steel, where they're raising the level cap and expanding on the story.

And the charges for Live, and the fact that they force prices higher than the devs want... pretty much all DLC seems to be a rip-off

You pay for an upgrade of the entire system, allowing you to access and use more stuff, increasing the capabilities of the system and in this case, also enabling you to play free things that your old pc couldn't handle.
Any company should do that: either give it free for everyone, or get everyone to pay.
