Forums - Nintendo - Capcom says retooled Spyborgs to be revealed ’soon’ (exciting graphics)

It's hard to take the game seriously for me.

Spyborgs just sounds like... i dunno a TV/action figure combo marketed to 10 year olds.

That or "Police Cops"

I took a look at the leaked footage (here: http://superiorversion.com/?p=202 ) and it appears to be rough-in in-engine cinematics which look like they're at a very early stage ...

we will wait and see

There's barely any detail in the characters or environments, not much color either.  Who the heck said they were surprised those graphics were on the Wii?

It was very early in development.  The game was just exposed easier than it should've been.  That's why we didn't get to see Final Fantasy XIII's real time footage until just last year.  S-E wanted to make sure the graphics were ready.

Read Soriku's 1st post  "When people’s first reactions are surprise that those graphics are on the Wii, you know you’re on to something."

Not interested. Just bring Monster Hunter 3 to the West and Capcom can give it a rest for the rest of this gen with their development of Wii games. These guys showed promise with RE4 Wii and Zak and the Wiki but went down hill fast. Now they are so uninspired and their work shows it.

If Nintendo is successful at the moment, it’s because they are good, and I cannot blame them for that. What we should do is try to be just as good.----Laurent Benadiba

Cool--I'd forgotten about this game.

Now, if only they'd do the same with Dead Rising...

Unless Spyborgs has over 100 active enemies in an area, there isn't a proper comparison. As it is, Spyborgs has a smaller scale which leaves room for better graphics. DR isn't leaving much room, despite how people refuse to see it.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

You're really not aware of the concept of a rough-in are you?

I kinda like what they see. The aesthetics seem to be reminiscent of Ben 10 or The Secret Saturdays, both of which are quite good from an aesthetic standpoint

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
