This is gonna take some research xD But i guess some of my favourite 5 aren't even on metacritic, they are too old.

1 - Lufia 2 (no metacritic score, using RPGFAN.com score, 85)
2 - Diablo 2 (88)
3 - Parasite Eve (81)
4 - Grandia (89)
5 - Terranigma (also no metacritic score, using RPGFAN.com score, 92)

Edit - Swapped FFVII for Parasite Eve, how could i forget about my beloved P.E =(
