Had em' for about a year. Only on the top though.

But for some reason people barely noticed them.

I remember a friend of mine who I saw practically everyday, about six months after I'd got them suddenly stopped in a corridor and sort of squinted at me.

"Hey...have you got braces?"

Heh, I had braces for a few years, including the Herbst Appliance (http://www.braceplace.com/herbstappliance.html) which sucked, but now my teeth are nice a straight. I didn't mind the braces, just the Herbst.

Had them for a few years, I had pretty messed up teeth, especially one of my canines was entirely out of place and another one of my teeth was stuck to my jaw (which meant that all the other teeth grew over top of it - took over an hour for them to cut it out in the end). Now the braces are gone and my teeth are all good though.

A university aged chick with braces is absolutely adorable if she is cute herself. And the way their lips move when they talk so they don't cut up their lips is memerizing... Just sublime. :)
