OT, Its pretty interesting to see the PS3 has NEVER really ever gained ground back in America, sales seem to be flatlined around MGS release.

with the rumors buzzing about a price cut- I doubt very many ps3s are going to be sold. Who'd want to pay 400-500 when the price "possibly" be 300-400 the very next day? They need to hype a game up (kz2 preferably) and announce a few days prior to its release that they're cutting prices. Ever since October/November, the 360 has been gaining momentum.

1) Sony flatout denied pricecut anytime soon (normally it would be a "No Comment")

2) Sony have said them selves they expect the PS3 to start making a profit next year.

3) The majority of potential buyers don't come on sites like these and won't have even heard about this "price cut"
