I called this a while back, and even though this isn't real, I'm gonna say it again:

I do believe that at some point Square Enix and Microsoft ARE going to make a Halo RPG. And it will sell absolute ****loads of copies. That really looked cool though :P

I would definatly buy it!  And i know a bunch of other people who would as long as it was well made

Oh yeah I forgot to say why I thought this...

Microsoft has been pushing for Japan for a while now, and Sqeenix has been pushing for the west a while now.

Now think; put 2 of the most utterly massive series of America and Japan together, and you've got a massive win-win from both areas. Sell like crazy in America, sell like crazy in Japan.

The only real big reason I could see against this idea is that Microsoft is choosing its Halo devs wisely; Bungie and Ensemble are some of the best devs for their genres. Square has been having "issues" with releasing fully competant games lately. Of course, MS will be funding it so I don't think that would be a problem of the resources they would need.

At the same time, the story in the game would give huge amounts more content to the ever-expanding Halo universe, thus more books, comics, and merchandise would be created, and more Halo based games.

There are tons of holes here, but lets face it, putting these two ungodly massive series together would be nothing but win.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

I'd buy a halo turn based strategy game. Just not one that plays like a silly Jrpg.

Yet, today, America's leaders are reenacting every folly that brought these great powers [Russia, Germany, and Japan] to ruin -- from arrogance and hubris, to assertions of global hegemony, to imperial overstretch, to trumpeting new 'crusades,' to handing out war guarantees to regions and countries where Americans have never fought before. We are piling up the kind of commitments that produced the greatest disasters of the twentieth century.

That's a lot better than the real Halo. I would buy it.

We'll see how Halo Wars sells. If it does well, the possibilities are endless.
