There is no way Sony pushed a new disk format on people next generation. Blu-ray has more than enough space for next-gen games.

HVD! no f-ing way, a HVD player today cost $15,000! and 1 disk cost about $150! even if the PS4 will only be released 2011-2013 its still going to be expensive as hell, and I don't think Sony can pull another PS3. Like I said many times it'll pretty much be a PS3.5 instead of 4, and definitely not QF-HDTV maybe PS5. Where do these people think Sony's getting all this money from?

No way.

At most it will simply be a Blu-Ray player capable of reading 100-200GB disks.

Why sacrifice your console lead and all notion of profitability on a new disc medium if you're not going to follow through with it for at least one more generation?

it might need a different type of format... not to say that bluray is going away or dosent have enough space... from what it states here its gonna be holographic.... i really dont see them switching to a higher resolution TV's though... thats a bit weird considering 1080p is barelly if at all in the mainstream...

ha yea i love the HUGE resolution it shows. How many games out there are even in 1080p and one that are what is frames per second then.

also what is wind, and shock in a controller. and also the 9.1 surround is doubtful too. I just don't see developers giving a shit about that high, cause no one has 9.1 surround so why add an unnecessary expensive feature to PS4.

otherwise most catagories seem like they looked at what is best you can get at that and put it there, and lol at 2011
