you can say the same for both. theyre hyped basically because they are supposed to be the best shooters for their respective console, so theyre hyped for good reasons...

Im sick of all the games that get over hyped actually because then when they come out most of the time they receive lack luster reviews which in turn makes the game look horrible.

I feel that if a game is hyped so much you put your standards for that game at an all time level then when you play it you'll be dissapointed it wasnt all you thought it would be :( God I hate the internet lol :p

I am sick of KZ2 hype, because we already know it lives up to it. Why bother anymore?

The Conduit hype is still exciting and fun, because Wii fans are lining up at tattoo parlors to have the game logo etched into them still. I don't think KZ2 ever inspired so much tattooing.

I have no idea how anyone could pick the Conduit over KZ2; we've gone, many times, days on end without thread or post about it, whereas Killzone 2 occupies half of the front page of threads constantly. There are tons of KZ2 gifs in signatures and KZ avatars , while there are one or two Conduit pictures in sigs. I haven't even seen a Conduit avatar.

You're also 2 weeks before the release of KZ2, son! The Conduit isn't that close and will get lots of hype as it gets closer to release.

Killzone 2. I avoid a lot of KZ2 threads, but KZ2 is brought up in a lot of threads that doesn't have to do with Killzone 2. If you want to talk about KZ2, keep it in the official KZ2 thread. Also the defense force is ridiculous.

KZ2, since all of the hype is based on the least important aspect of games to me. Graphics are unimportant, and that's all KZ2 has going for it. Then again, I expect both to be horrible bombs that dash each camp's expectations to dust. KZ2 I'm sure will not return anywhere near the $50+ mil it costs and the Conduit will probably break even and be forgotten.

While that's true, I while posit that KZ2 has had quite a bit more face-time than The Conduit well before now.

Killzone 2 lives up to and exceeds the hype.

We don't know if The Conduit will yet and it is looking as though it won't, therefore I say The Conduit
