For me it would be The Conduit because at the end of the day it's being hyped simply because it's being made for the Wii.  If the game was being made for the 360 or PS3 it probably wouldn't even get noticed let alone hyped.  The fact that the company doesn't even have a storied history also makes the hype that much more questionable.  This seems to make the hype even more obnoxious when the game is compared to Halo.  At least Bungie deserved the hype based on their past efforts while The Conduit seemingly gets an undeserved free pass.

I don't want to let Killzone 2 off the hook without a few comments though.  While the original Killzone was a competent effort it does not in my opinion justify the hype that Killzone 2 received.  If anything the hype for this game is because some Sony fans are desperately trying to find their own "Halo series".  Considering Resistance 2 came out not too long ago it has to make some people wonder just how fresh this kind of experience is going to be for Playstation 3 owners.  At least the game based on reviews (so far) seems to be living up to the hype.

Anyways just an opinion of someone on the outside looking in on two FPS games being very hyped (surprisingly neither for the "shooter console").

Both of them look like great games, both of them are going to make people excited. If you have a problem hyping those games, then hopefully you have a problem hyping every game ever made, as that would only be fair.

How come you weren't here to start a similar thread about Halo 3 or Gears of War?

Anyway I'm not sick of either. Don't really read the stuff about Killzone 2 anymore and always keen to hear new stuff on Conduit.

I never turn more than 60 degrees in one go, so for me 3 lefts is backwards.

I agree with nordlead. I'm sick of people always complaining about everything. Both hype for both games is eerily similar and whatnot but there's really nothing you can do about it. Personally it would be nice to not have to hear about both games in every single thread all the time but it's the usual with shooters and mainstream gamers so ya just have to get used to it.

If you were in these forums the last year or two I hope you felt and posted these same feelings of Halo3 (maybe that was too long ago), GTA (the last one) and also of every hyped game you bought.
