Remember this thread?

Talking about a bundle that could be done with a Wii and The Conduit?

Well I e-mailed the pic to the guys at HVS with a text similar to the one we discussed here, and today for my enjoyment I see that they replied to me, stay with the words of the Conduit Producer, Josh Olson:

"Bon gia [this means good morning], Francisco!

I’m Josh Olson, producer on The Conduit, and I wanted to say thanks for the feedback!  We agree that 10 million is a very nice number, but perhaps a little low for The Conduit.   Know that Sega, Nintendo, and we are all working together very hard to make The Conduit an awesome experience for everyone – we wholeheartedly agree that it’s a system-seller and hope to get it into as many people’s hands as possible.  It’s in good hands and we’re looking forward to showing off our baby to the world very soon.

Thanks for the support and the feedback!

Josh"

Thanks for HVS team for their support to the Wii crowd out there.

MAY THE HYPE TRAIN GET BIGGER!!!

Thats what it should look like.  For some reason smileys turn into J's when sending emails from outlook to gmail for me sometimes.. so I assume the same thing happend here.

Edit, whether or not its a winky one or just a normal one I am unsure

So... The conduit will sell at least 10 million copies? We'll see. :D

Really?

He could just type incorrectly. The "I" letter is right in the upside of "J"...

At least in european keyboards...

the conduit is not that big enough to sell more than halo.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY

Pure Win :)

I am surprised if conduit sells more than 2 million but hey, I'm not the developer. They know better so 10 million it is!

Some people here...

Yea, looks like Halo is bad ass competition. How many copies did the original sell in the first few weeks?

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

He could, but that also wouldnt explain the capital K, for Know.  Sure he could have done two typo's in a row.  I would demonstrate, but unfortunately I work for a new company and am running Outlook 2000 and that doesnt automatically change smileys.

My girlfriend always wondered why my emails were always littered with J's when I'd reply to her, so yeah, I'd put my money on it being a smiley.

I think you need Outlook 2003? when you send an email do :) it changes it into the smiley with a circle, send it to a gmail email (perhaps even other web based emails I'm unsure) and you'll see a J, or other substitute character, it may be a winky smiley that does a J, I can't remember :P

Edit: So if it is a smiley that should help everyone realise that he is being sarcastic, I am sure he hopes it sells 10 million, but is probably realistic, I am sure they will be having a large number as a goal, but not the magic number to deem it successful.
