There is a very large cost associated with delivering healthcare in the developed world in a large part due to safty regulations surrounding pharmacuticals and (often unnecessary) malpractice litigation. At the same time Healthcare is a very limited resource in a large part because of how few people take care of themself, and how many people take advantage of a system (if it is free). Regardless of who is paying the bill (it will be you either way) these problems will still exist, and many people will have no access to healthcare ... The problem with government run healthcare is it becomes a political sacred cow and nothing can be tried to make the system more efficient. |
nope, wrong again, we can improve the NHS (example of government run healthcare) invest heavily in it (another thing my tax policies would make possible) and invest wisely at a local level, so if one area needs treatment A we give them that treatment and if another area dosent need treatment A but treatment B, we give them a bit of A but alot of B
