Free Healthcare is great as long as you don't want access to healthcare ...

Overpriced healthcare is great if you can actually pay for it.
|
If you weren't aware of it, we're essentially pointing out the same problems ...
There is a very large cost associated with delivering healthcare in the developed world in a large part due to safty regulations surrounding pharmacuticals and (often unnecessary) malpractice litigation. At the same time Healthcare is a very limited resource in a large part because of how few people take care of themself, and how many people take advantage of a system (if it is free).
Regardless of who is paying the bill (it will be you either way) these problems will still exist, and many people will have no access to healthcare ... The problem with government run healthcare is it becomes a political sacred cow and nothing can be tried to make the system more efficient.

nope, wrong again, we can improve the NHS (example of government run healthcare) invest heavily in it (another thing my tax policies would make possible) and invest wisely at a local level, so if one area needs treatment A we give them that treatment and if another area dosent need treatment A but treatment B, we give them a bit of A but alot of B

I can guarantee that 5 years from today your access to healthcare will be worse than it is today or you will be spending more money on healthcare.
In the 1960s and 1970s when Canada’s healthcare system was affordable childhood obesity was under 5% and adult obesity was under 15%. These obese children and adults are now the ones who have pushed preventable illnesses caused by obesity to the level where it is the leading cause of preventable death and the biggest cost in our healthcare system. In the last decade childhood obesity has reached 25% and adult obesity is over 33% and in the coming decades the demands these people will put on the healthcare system is unprecedented.

are your figures on obesity or dangerous obesity?, theres a differnce, you can be obeise without it being damaging for your health, also one way of tackling this is through education, if we teach people more about the risks from a younger age, thoose rates will probably go down.
