Fanboyism is fun within moderation. There are degrees of it, as there are degrees of everything, and its a nice way to self-identify in many cases. Often helps within socialization. Good fanboys you can associate with, the bad ones are just bad people (or are good people who just troll for kicks)

It's fun being a fanboy, if your affiliation behooves it.
