Forums - General - Fanboys ruining it for everyone?

The fanboy has existed since 1985. (Fanboy is a term used to describe any individual who is devoted to a single subject in an emotional or fanatical manner, or to a single point of view within that subject, often to the point where it is considered an obsession.)

The fanboys ruin every god damn forum/video/picture ive been to, cant go in a thread without the boiz fewking up everything. Who the fuvk cares if the pixl's on the doorknob is better on the other console? jeez.

You can say fuck here, as long as it's not excessive ;).

Anyway, Fanbots is what makes these forums great. Really! Anyone recalling the epic April 08 NPD thread will know what I mean. Anyone who read a LEO-J, Crazzyman or John Lucas thread should know...

I also resent the (long) banning of trolls in a way because of entertainment value...

Without fanboys, the internet would be so boring. God bless those dirty, silly fanboys.

They make life entertaining, with their rambling!

I hope my 360 doesn't RRoD

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Fanboyism is fun within moderation. There are degrees of it, as there are degrees of everything, and its a nice way to self-identify in many cases. Often helps within socialization. Good fanboys you can associate with, the bad ones are just bad people (or are good people who just troll for kicks)

It's fun being a fanboy, if your affiliation behooves it.
