"It looks like the rumours were true: Mario & Sonic will return this year to face off in skiing, ice hockey and lots more wintry events for a game based on the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.

Sega has yet to officially confirm the title exists but that hasn't stopped 2010's director of licensing, Dennis Kim. He said that while he doesn't know exactly which sports the pair of console mascots will be facing off in, he hopes they'll bring in as much cash as the first game."

So then it's NOT confirmed. Why does everyone always try to jump the gun? I agree that this game is going to happen, but we really should wait for official word from Sega.

So what will Sega set the sales bar at this time?


Once they confirm the game that is.



Pacman taught people to run around in dark rooms munching on pills while listening to repettive techno music and for that I somewhat idolise him.

I think it is pretty much a no-brainer that this game will be created ... Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games will (soon) tripple Sega's sales expectations, and currently is Sega's best selling game ever

M&S was a decent game - but it could have been SO much better. I really wished they would release a 'special edition' (for the Olympics or post), with a heap of extra features.

Winter Games had better have online!
