Just as a side note to all the silly logic...
Average game developer salaries have gone up about 15-20% since the last console generation. I think it stands to reason that, being largely salary and maintenance fee based expenses, dev costs have also gone up at least 20%. It is very much too sense-making to think that the Wii's dev costs might actually be 20% higher (or more) than the last generation, so just stop with that logic crazyness, for the sake of all us Wii enjoyers.
Don't you know that Wii devkits ship with the special Game Makin' Wizard application, which makes the game making easier and so cheap??
Viva la Wii!
Just some more numbers, the HD versions cost $15 more in Canada then the wii one. Its not a big market, but at 10% of the US numbers its still a nice little number. Now once we factor in DLC content then the wii version falls even lower, the CoD4 maps sold over a million within a couple days of being out on the 360 alone.
Just to add my own fact because it would be of common knowledge. PC numbers only buy increase the PS360numbers and the port for PC to 360 or vice versa (not sure what was lead platform) coast even cheaper than the 360 to PS3 port if hardly anything. The PC version should be included into the HD Consoles figures cause it is an HD Game Machine. And unless every PC gamer just quit playing games the PC version should have sold in the millions as well. Which = More Dinero!!!

FootballFan - "GT has never been bigger than Halo. Now do a comparison between the two attach ratios and watch GT get stomped by Halo. Reach will sell 5 million more than GT5. Quote me on it."
