but i dont have a mario game in my house other than nsmb and ssbm. i am away from mario in general.

So why start this thread.  You follow my mantra: "Don't want, don't buy."  But I think you are missing something.

There are sports titles, then there are arcade style sports titles.  Arcade style means that the game is more focused on mechanic of using the input device, rather than the actual sport.  This can be bad if you are looking for a simulation of playing the sport, but is good if you are just looking to have fun.

The Mario Sports titles are the most dependable lineup of games featuring arcade style gameplay, both gameplay wise and sales wise.

and Mario Party and Wario Ware are two of the three best mini game series out there.  (Who can guess the third? Hint: Not made by nintendo, but focused on Nintendo consoles.)

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

What I would suggest to Nintendo is to open up the Mario games to other franchises, as they have SSB (note the lack of the name Mario in the title - he's just one of many supporting players). While I think the Mario Kart name is too well established, why not Smash Tennis, Smash Golf, etc, so that other Nintendo (and maybe 3rd party) franchises could get in the mix as well. Honestly, as good as those games are, it'd be nice to see more variety in level design and character selection.

Then SSB would lose it's uniqueness.

No.

Too little Luigi.

John Lucas

 Luigi's Mansion 2 FTW

All they'd need to do is make it longer, and add in some new things so it doesn't get repetitive.

All they had to do was to remake the whole game so it wasn't so borring!

Buy it and pray to the gods of Sigs: Naznatips!

Well Benkenobi already gave pretty much the best possible response so not much more than that.

I also agree with John Lucas on Luigi. I always liked him more than Mario for some reason so I'd love to see more of him in games.

Anyone who does not like Mario is a Communist and needs to be castrasted, tarred-and-feathered, and then forced to listen to "Mandy" over and over again until his or her ears bleed.

Yeah.

Or check out my new webcomic: http://selfcentent.com/

Mario is nintendo's mascot. They would never stop making video games with him in it even for a secend. (unless they got a new mascot, but what are the chances of that?)

Bet with OriGin: Within 1 year Super Smash Bros. Brawl will be ahead of Mario Kart Wii (when aligning the one whole year from each region). 2 week ban from Vgchartz for the loser. Edit: Darn! Looks like OriGin will win.
