I'm agree "todays cartoon are so crappy in comparison". I'm 34 and I still think that the cartoons of 80 are the better. Lot's of action, cool stuff, they ain't got something like that today cause they are so politicly correct : no violence, no blood...

Kids are spoiled these days with "afternoon cartoons". I remember when they had cartoons on Saturday mornings and that was it. Once a year on Friday prime time they would have a sneak peak of the new season's saturday morning cartoons.

Yet, today, America's leaders are reenacting every folly that brought these great powers [Russia, Germany, and Japan] to ruin -- from arrogance and hubris, to assertions of global hegemony, to imperial overstretch, to trumpeting new 'crusades,' to handing out war guarantees to regions and countries where Americans have never fought before. We are piling up the kind of commitments that produced the greatest disasters of the twentieth century.

Today's cartoons are copy & paste lifeless animation, with cg tossed in to impress the kiddies. I know that we are viewing the old cartoons with nostalgia, but dammit, they were actually better!

I'm running out of shows i can remember here..

M.A.S.K:

Centurions: Those guys were the ultimate toy concept.

James Bond Jr: I hated this but whatever...

Inspector Gadget: DAMN YOU MATTHEW BRODERICK!

Garfield & Friends: That was a show that had sophisticated humour.

G.I Joe Extreme: GOD i hated that and Action Man. Those reworked EXTREME cartoons were the worst.
