DMC 4 sold well and with the current economic climate developers are likely to keep their resources in established/successful franchises. i think a DMC5 is a pretty safe bet.
I thought the guy(s) from DCM are working on Bayonetta as an DCM fan you should check some information about that game. Ok Dante is not there but I give it a high chance you will like that game aswell :).
If it was to be developed by the same guy that made the mediocre dmc4 then I hope not. Since Kamiya is working on Bayonetta and will never come back to Capcom, that game is your best bet for an action fix this year. The only way I can see DMC5 being good is if they get some new blood to work on it, or have an established director like Itagaki work on it.
Bayonetta looks so pervert...
But ok what I have seen is pretty much like Dmc but that feels pretty sad..
Take my love, take my land..
Yea Bayonetta does appear to be perverted in an over the top way, but the action looks sublime, especially the finishing moves like the guillotine and the dragon. Furthermore Kamiya has yet to turn in a bad performance, so I have full faith in his abilities to create a compelling and unique action game.
DMC4 was good gaming, it sold well...I think they will have to update some gameplay aspects of the series as its getting to be quite dated (invisible walls while you fight, respawning enemies when you leave the rooms...) but we should see a sequel.
Yh im really hoping for a DMC 5 i loved the series it would be a shame for Capcom to leave it to die off.
Well I think 4 was way better than 2 and even 3
Most likely we will see a 5
