Well, not releasing Call of Duty Modern Warefare 2 for the Wii will only make it worse for the Call of Duty franchise on the Wii ... If you only release weaker versions of the less desireable Call of Duty games on a platform people who own that platform will not buy your games because they think they are bad. Seriously, Activision is basically writing the book on how to hurt their franchise with how they handle the call of duty games.

As I spoke with a friend at IW, they've already been told they are to make MW2 for Wii as well. That means that the Wii IS getting modern warfare 2. Nice try tho.

Considering the popularity of the franchise, I consider it a flop. If haloIV sells 2M, it will be a flop, even if 2M is "good".

But the Wii has the most hardware sold and the game sold less than the PS3/X360 version; That will show a message to devs don't ya think?

it has been said many times that you cant compare the sales of the wii version to the HD versions, CoD has a fanbase in the HD consoles while on the wii it is building fanbase, also many people who own a HD console and a wii bought it on the HD consoles because it had more features.

But the wii version has he Unique Wii Remote controls! But yeah you are right (although the Wii userbase already had COD 3).
