Yeah, very well rendered and hi res. Much more then 1080p or anything of the such. You should see the water effects on this thing they call "the ocean" its pretty beastly. The devolpers made the sun too bright when on it though. Can cause eye problems. But over all very pretty.

It's been a while since I've read up on this but iirc the research indicates that most people can't see better than 1080p at proper viewing distance. The advantage real life has is that you have full control over the camera and can get as close as you want to stuff and the textures are all good enough that they don't blur even when/if you essentially touch them to your eyeball.
More than that though your actual resolution is somewhat of a trick question, you have fairly low resolution throughout your peripheral vision and then within your field of focus you have very good vision...since whatever you're examining your eyes naturally flow to, it ultimately makes the mind think everything is percieved that well when in reality you're seeing only a very small portion of that detail at any given time.
